|Positive points about your laptop:
||My laptop a dream come true when my father agreed to buy me one on Diwali its now almost 5 yrs since i am using this dream machine. It is a dream machine though not with great speeds Pentium M 1.5, I upgraded the RAM to 512, preloaded WinXP Home edition,, 15" LCD, 2 USB ports (now i feel there should be 10 of them), DVD Combo, a good battery (word application for almost 2.5 hrs) 30Gb HDD (only 25GB is usable) now i feel the short of space. But the thing i liked the most of this was the sturdyness of the machine, the built quality of IBM is No.1. I recommented my brother to buy machine of IBM only and luckly he was given from his college IBM.
The very best part of the IBM is its Track Point which eleminates the use of a mouse. The rescue and restore features are very useful (i used them three times). the quick access connects at my home and office seamlessly (via PCM Dlink WiFi card) The speakers are not at all good so i bought a portable speakers. But the battery life very good. the features offered by IBM for presentations are very good it becomes very simple to getinto the presentation mode. No touchpad on this just volume controls. The inbuilt reading lamp is great. the lcd is too thick and machine weighs about 2.0 kgs. The keys are placed in a spacious way so that accidently we dont press two letters. So this is no laptop for great performances or benchmarks but for sheer office use. the graphics i have never tried on it so i dont know about it (I hate playing games).
Now this machine seems to have become tired, but all because of me at everynow a than i keep on installing softwares available on the digit media and have three times restored it.
I know that if the machine is kept clean and only required programs are installed in it the machine will work very efficeintly as it was working till its first 10 months then i started reading digit and my experiments started. but i still love my dream machine and have ni plans for its retirement.
